The journal welcomes submissions in all areas relating to medieval literature and languages. Articles can vary in length but are normally in the range of 7,000 to 12,000 words, though notes of under 2,000 words are fully acceptable. The Editors will acknowledge articles submitted on receipt, and will endeavour to reach an in-principle decision on publication within twelve weeks. English (Old and Middle): Professor Corinne J. Saunders (Durham University) manages submissions covering Old and Middle English literature and language.
Romance Languages: Professor Sylvia Huot (University of Cambridge) oversees medieval Romance languages and their literatures.
Germanic Languages: Professor Stephen Mossman (University of Manchester) handles Germanic languages and literature (excluding Old English).
Latin, History, and Palaeography: Dr. David Rundle (University of Kent), who serves as the Managing Editor, looks after Latin, history, palaeography, and all other general or unassigned topics.
